About Mona's Quilt & Jam Shop

Mona's Quilt and Jam Shop is situated in the beautiful Joe Batt's Arm on the north side of Fogo Island. Home to the Fogo Island Inn.

In her family home dating back to the early 1900's, it is the perfect showcase for all of Mona's handmade quilts, mats, and knitted goods. As well as a complete pantry stocked with jams. bottled meats, and homemade chocolates. The jam and bottled meats are all cultivated on Fogo Island and contain no preservatives of any kind.

Take a moment and step back in time when you view the house from tools used by fishermen a hundred years ago to ladies hats that women were not without in that era.

About Me

I have lived all my life right here in Joe Batt's Arm and like us all I come from a long line of resilient and self-sufficient people; no job is too big and just about everything is worth a try.

My great passion is creating from fabrics and Hart House is where I share such innate abilities with whoever enters my door.
